time flies... TSTR #183.

 It's hard to believe a year flew by so quickly. Today marks the last Shabby Tea Room post for me! 77 challenges later... so many great weeks working along side some of the sweetest people in blog land. This week I am you host and for my final TSTR challenge I chose a theme of "Time Flies" I ask that you create a card/projects using:

                              *A CLOCK image some where in your creation:)

tea party picnic... TSTR #181

I'm using the Coffee Cup shaped card for my tea theme today from The Cutting Cafe. This week's winner will receive 3 files of their choice from our fab, shabby sponsor!

 I tried my hand at making a corrugated paper sleeve for my cup of tea. All I did here was to score using my scorpal and then go back and fold to accentuate the lines. Then I stuck on my tea label.

Hello Shabby Tea Room fans!
It's Monday and that brings with it a whole new challenge over on the blog with Rebecca as our hostess. This week our challenge is to create something using:

I've made a gift bag this week using a seed packet and created my tag out of Janet's digital paper(sweet colour paper 1). 

 The tag gets tucked back into the seed packet and the bow blends in with the bow at the top. I've used Paper Sweeties Primrose Cookie Dough seam binding here.. it is the most yummy yellow!

lazy days... TSTR #178

As summer is coming to a close in my neck of the woods, I'm savouring every last lazy summer day I can! I'd love to just sit and relax on the porch in our inspiration photo this week for our challenge over at TSTR! This week Starr is our hostess and asks that we create a card/project using:

oh baby...TSTR #177

Hey there!

This week over at The Shabby Tea Room I'm your host and we have a baby themed challenge for you! Be inspired by the inspiration photo and create*A BABY PROJECT for a boy or girl.

Or in my case this week, both! I've used Bugaboo Stamps "Boo peeking carriage" to make my tags this week. Super quick and simple and easy to customize for any occasion, whether you know the gender of the baby or not. I just printed a couple and then coloured them in using water colour pencils and fussy cut out. Some Crafty Secrets Papers make up the base of my tag (PTI Tag Sale).

totally textured...TSTR #165

Happy Monday to you all! We're back again with a brand new challenge over at The Shabby Tea Room. I have the pleasure of being your host, and this week it's all about texture! Play along and create a card or project using:

Isn't that phot just full of different textures. It's love! I just love using both of these to add detail and interest to cards. This week Debbie's Paper Sweeties are sponsoring us and I used the beautiful Fancy Monogram stamps for my banner. They are so intiricate and have such a lovely detail.

I used my Cuttlebug embossing folder and hand stitched the bird. Just love how subtle the swirls are.

pretty shabby...TSTR #162

It's a new week and that brings a new challenge over at The Shabby Tea Room! This week it's all about recycling and shabby! Our hostess Tracey asks that we create a card or project using:

Our sponsor this week is Creations by AR and I'm using  the "Tray Chic" template. This was so quick to come together! I just love it! I increased all of the sizes by 25% when I printed it out, so my tray today is slightly larger than the original file.

I just loved the vibrant blue of the bottles and went with that as my main colour. My recycled item is the ties- they were old shoelaces from a pair of shoes I rarely used. This tray sits on my desk  to hold my small Paper Sweeties stamp sets. I can't wait to try this out to hold some baked goodies to give away as gifts!

shabby spring...TSTR #161

Hey Shabby fans!
I'm back with an all new Shabby Tea Room Challenge. This week Rebecca is our hostess and she asks that we create a card or project using:

This week Janet's Digital Papers (Etsy) is our sponsor and I used the Birdhouse image for my card today. To make it a little 3-D I printed the image a couple times and cut out the roof, painted it and added foam dots.

I also fussy cut the roses and added them to the original image with a thinner 3D foam. I just loved all the blues and purples in the photo and used them as inspiration for my colour scheme.

beautiful blues...TSTR #160

Hi Tea Room Fans!
We are back with another fun challenge over at The Shabby Tea Room from our host Starr who asks that we create a card/project using:
                                                  *COLOURS: BLUE + WHITE + KRAFT
                                                                * ADD A SENTIMENT.

I've used Paper Sweeties  "So Sweet of You" stamp set for my sentiment. A painted wooden birdcage sits on top of some blue lace and some pretty patterned paper for my 'blue' element. I have very little dark blue papers so this will have to suffice. I just love that blue in the photo, don't you? A pretty stick pin made by my blog buddy Stella, sits behind my flower and leaf cluster.  A pretty simple card and I just love the end result.
