Happy Spring to you!
We got doused in snow this weekend. Can't wait for spring. Over at The Shabby Tea Room the theme is spring and there is a gorgeous inspiration picture again this week to play with. Fran is our shabby host and she asks that we create a card or project using LILAC, YELLOW, BLUE AND KRAFT and to INCLUDE A BUTTERFLY.
Our sponsor this week is JustRite Stampers and I chose to use the background stamp Chevron. Chevrons are SO in right now. I'm seeing them everywhere. I love their simple elegance.
I did two cards this week.. one using the Chevron stamp as a background and one as a focal point. Love love love the versatility!
Yummy. So easy to stamp a large area for background. It's soft and subtle.
And something you rarely see from me. A CAS card, using the chevron stamp as a focal point. Adds just the right amount of pop I was looking for!
That's it from me today but be sure to pop by the other Shabby Girls blogs and leave some love!
