garden party...TSTR #115

Hello Monday. Hello brand new week. Hello new Shabby Challenge!

I'm your host this week over at The Shabby Tea Room and it's a garden party! All I ask for this challenge is that you create a card/project  and use:
                                      *COLOURS FROM THE INSPIRATION PICTURE
                                      *A DIMENSIONAL FLOWER.

This week we are lucky to be double sponsored by 2 fabby sponsors: Bugaboo Stamps and Digital Paper by Janet(Etsy). I used Skye's Pencil Pics: Orchid from Bugaboo and the Beautiful Day 2 papers by Janet.

I coloured in the image with water colour pencils then went over with a paintbrush.. love how it turned out. I used pop dots to give it a 3D effect. Waltzing Mouse and PTI stamps.. Prima and MME papers. Love how Janet's papers matched my colour scheme.

So now won't you pop over to the other Shabby Girls and check out their yummy projects:

                          Debbie- Deb's Simple Treasures

Lenet- To Scrap or Not to Scrap

                          Tammy- Paperie Sweetness

                          Fran- Purple Peanut's Crafty Blog

                          Starr- The Paper Chase

See you in the Tea Room lovelies!

  7. Hi Rebekah, I was 'studying' this card and came to the conclusion it is done so well and using water pencils is amazing results. I use copics but not much success with the pencils. Love this creation as it creates such a delicate softness...thanks for your comment on my blog...Guess I now want to be a follower of yours...I really did love the softness of the inspiration photo too...Annie x
