two of a kind...

What a busy couple of weeks it has been! Had a special visitor for a week.. loved having my sister here.. we even got some crafting in:) Spring is slowly making an appearance; my garden is all weed free and dug up in anticipation of planting soon.. Summer will be here in no time!

A little catching up to do here on the blog.. a couple of cards to share.. still going birdy over here... It soon shall pass and I'll be onto some other obsession.. These two cards were for my guy's mom and aunt...my version of sympathy cards..two halves of a whole; reminding them that through their loss their bond as sisters remain..

Lately I've been obsessed with my new papers from MME and Prima...The Songbird collection is just gorgeous! The birdcage image is from The Graphics Fairy.. gosh. I could spend hours on that site..

I love looking at the two cards together:

Both cards have 2 birds on them...I love adding a little symbolism to each card I make.. whether or not the recipient (or recipients) 'get' them or not, at least I know they are there. My way of making them special..

These are some of my favourite cards to date(despite the occasion they were for). Here's the set of 4; just because I like looking at them while they were all together, before making their way into the world:

Well that's that.. I'll be back soon with another fabby challenge from TSTR on Monday.
Happy weekend!
