It's time for a fresh new challenge for a fresh new week over at The Shabby Tea Room. This week Rebecca is our hostess and asks that we create a card or project using:

I just loved those jars in the corner of the photo and decided to 'fill' my jar with sugary-glitter coated buttons. I used a piece of acetate to create the look of glass.

a silver lining...TSTR #154

Hey there friends!
Welcome to another shabby, fab challenge over at The Shabby Tea Room. This week the lovely Starr is our hostess and she asks that we create something yummy using:

What a gorgeous photo! This week I used the "Gourmet Takeout" template from our sponsor Creations by AR. This was such a fun template to use.. I chose to use the larger of the 2 templates included. sweet silhouettes...TSTR #153

This week over at The Shabby Tea Room I'm your host and I have another fun challenge for you. Its no secret I love silhouetted images and thats what our challenge is all about! Simply create a card or project using:
                                           * A SILHOUETTE AS YOUR MAIN FOCAL POINT

Easy peasy right? I can't wait to see what you all create. My card this week was created with Vintage Silhouette Images from our sponsor Janet's Papers (Etsy). Such a gorgeous bunch of images to play with. Our top three winners this week will win 1 collage (3rd place) 2 Collages (2nd place) and 3 collages for our winner!

I chose my image and enlarged it to fit my card, then I fussy cut it out with some scissors.

Crafty Secrets February Linky Party...

This weeks challenge over on the Crafty Secrets blog is all about 'Love'. Perfect for me to get inky with my favourite Crafty Secrets stamps. Play along with us and link up your creations using great Crafty Secrets Projects and be entered to win a $50 gift certificate to use on the Crafty Vintage Girl website. Everyone who enters will win a $5 gift certificate for playing along!!

This month I played around with great digital papers from the CS Vintage Valentine Kit and stamps from the Hardware set (the gorgeous lock, key and scrolls) and sentiment from the Family Post card set.

I love the thought of old handwritten love letters, all tied together with a ribbon; read and
re-read.. so romantic.. that was the inspiration behind my card today.. I heat embossed the lock and key and cut them out. I stamped the scroll pattern and heat embossed it as well.. just a subtle added detail.
